Class enquiries and registration privacy

The class enquiry form records contact details, dancer age or age range, training interest, message, privacy consent and date received. CDA uses these details to respond to the enquiry. Saved enquiries are accessible only to the CDA owner account through the studio desk.

CDA uses the dancer’s age or date of birth, previous dance experience, training goals and other registration information only where reasonably necessary for enrolment, account administration, class placement, student support, safety, competition and examination entries, and related studio communication.

Information should be accessible only to authorised staff and service providers who need it for these purposes, protected with reasonable safeguards and retained only for as long as necessary or legally required.

For a student under 18, the form must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian who is authorised to provide the child’s information and consent to its processing for the purposes described above.

Requests to access or correct registration information, or questions about its use, may be sent to register@cdadance.co.za.

Registration requests submitted on this website are stored for CDA. Access to the submissions list and downloads is restricted to the CDA owner account. The form records the submitted details, consent choices, agreement version, registration fee and date received.

A hashed connection identifier is used to limit automated submissions. No payment-card details are collected by this form. Payments are handled by Yoco. Your registration reference and amount due are passed to Yoco to identify the payment. CDA records the receipt reference, amount, payment date and verification details for account administration.

Photographs and video

The registration form provides a separate choice to consent or not consent to the use of dance-related photographs and videos.

If consent is given, CDA may use this material on its website, social media, promotional material or television and may complete a related publication or release form where required.

A parent or guardian may withdraw future media consent by emailing register@cdadance.co.za. Withdrawal cannot always remove material already lawfully published or distributed.
