Dance foundations
Line, posture, musicality, coordination and movement quality give the acrobatics a strong dance base.
CDA ACRODANCE
AcroDance brings dance technique and acrobatic skill together so dancers learn to move into, through and out of skills with control, musicality and performance quality.
HOW WE TRAIN
At CDA, AcroDance is not a dance routine with tricks added afterwards. Dance foundations, strength, flexibility, balances, limbering, tumbling, transitions and artistry are developed together so the movement remains connected and purposeful.
Training is progressive and level-appropriate, with strong attention to safe technique and clean execution.
Line, posture, musicality, coordination and movement quality give the acrobatics a strong dance base.
Strength, flexibility, balances, limbering and tumbling are developed progressively and safely.
Dancers learn how to enter and exit skills cleanly so acrobatics becomes part of the choreography rather than an interruption.
Expression, dynamics, musical interpretation and confidence complete the discipline.
AFFILIATED TRAINING
CDA’s AcroDance programme is affiliated with Acrobatic Arts and AcroDance SA, supporting structured technical development from foundations through advanced work.
